In Worcester? Yup. Grab a taste of West African cuisine at Akra African Fusion and Juice Bar located at the Worcester Public Market. The food is colorful, tasty and in some cases…spicy.
I ordered a bowl with tomato infused rice, which was mildly spicy, along with kale, colorful vegetable slices and a sliced egg along with chicken for my choice of protein. For the final touch I went with their hottest sauce, the black pepper sauce. Hot, yet with good flavor, though not for the faint of heart.
Overall, a great experience. Friendly staff, great food and affordable prices. I’ll definitely be back to try more items from their menu and highly recommend anyone go and make themselves acquainted with Akra Eatery - Juice Bar.
